This 1997 Ypres Rally Celica GT-Four brings one of the most recognisable Marlboro-era liveries to the Scalextric range.
The real car, driven by Freddy Loix and Sven Smeets, was a tough and competitive entry in a golden period of late-90s rallying, and the model reflects that attitude with its bold red-and-white scheme, detailed sponsor set and purposeful stance.
On the track, the Celica feels planted and responsive, helped by working lights and a smooth, dependable drivetrain. It's a great match for other late-Group A machinery, offering close, aggressive racing and plenty of visual drama as it powers through tight stages.
Fans of period rally cars will appreciate the accuracy of the bodywork, the clean finish and the faithful recreation of Loix's distinctive event livery.
