The RX-7 FD has long been a favourite among sports-car fans, and in Japan, it occasionally found a second life in police service, especially in traffic and highway patrol units where speed and agility were essential. 
With its lightweight rotary power, sharp handling, and dramatic styling, it made for a very capable pursuit car. Here, the RX-7 wears the distinctive black-and-white k?ban police livery, complete with roof-mounted light bar, bonnet crest, and Japanese service markings along the flanks.
