MT-MAG4 4.0mm Magnebraid

MINIMUM ORDER 10m. Magnebraid is a tinned, copper plated steel core track braid with magnetic properties. It has a much-improved lower resistance rating as compared to the former stainless-steel braid. And it has much better electrical properties than any plastic track system. It is perfect for all slot car tracks. Its nominal size is 4.0mm wide. Since the braid is a woven product, these dimensions are indicative only. The width can vary between 3.9mm - 4.5mm. The thickness can also vary between 0.5mm - 0.6mm. The braid is suitable for all types of slot car tracks and is especially great on tracks where you need magnetic attraction. It's sold by the metre (min. 10 metres).

Application tips for Magnebraid:
- After your braid arrives, measure it and then decide how deep to cut the braid recess.
- After the paint dries, rub the recess with a narrow piece of scourer pad from the kitchen.
- Start laying the braid carefully into a dust free braid recess and up against the recess shoulder.
- After applying braid on both sides of the slot. Give it a good roll with a Braid Roller.
- Not every roll of braid comes in one continual length.
