The CNC machine gets it's first workout this week. New software arrives next week.

Soon the first samples of our own products will be cut before we open the doors to the public.

October 21st, 2010

We are very excited about our new acquisition at Mobile Raceways. It’s a CNC Routing machine with a 3 phase router head, automatic tool changer and dust extractor. Just the thing for making slot car tracks to order. Not to mention custom made tool boxes and storage boxes etc. We are hoping to start sampling items early next year.

Obviously this website is where the launch date for the official start of our custom routed tracks. So stay tuned!

But please hold back the emails (yep, we have already had requests for quotes. Someone let the cat out of the bag didn’t they?) as we won’t be answering any requests for quotes or start dates! We know you’re just as excited as we are, but you’ll have to wait for the official launch!

If you are really eager and keen enough, what I suggest you do is, draw up your designs in scale, using accurate measurements (in centimetres) and standard board sizes to lay your track designs onto. The initial board size we will be using is the 1.2mt x 2.4mt. Sizes smaller than this will be no problem of course. And once we launch this new operation, you can forward your design by email and we can get onto it quickly. Even better if you can draw them up in AutoCAD.

Cheers,  Peter
