WEEKLY CIRCUIT RACING

On every Wednesday and Thursday night at 7:30pm, there is circuit

racing on our Blue King and Kingleman tracks. We host 1:24 scale

classes such as, GT1 Le mans style cars, V8 Utes, V8 Touring cars,

Super GT1 LMP cars and Group 10’s (really fast Flexi-cars).

On Saturday mornings at approx. 10:30am we run the V8 Utes and

V8 Touring cars again on the Blue King track.

MONTHLY CIRCUIT RACING

We host a variety of circuit racing classes every month on a Saturday

night starting at 7:00pm.

Wing Car Nights include GTP 12’s (Group 12 Sedans).

Wing 12’s and Group 27 wing cars.

The Wing 10 class is designed for the Amateur Wing car racer.

They are more reliable, easier to drive and extremely fast!!!

You can also hire a wing car if you want to try before you buy!

(you will need some experience before you qualify to hire a W10 car!)

Junior V8 Ute competitions are run on the Blue King once a month

starting from 5:00pm.

Retro and Scale Nights are run on the Kingleman track just after the

Junior V8 Utes at 7:00pm. The ever popular FJ Class is run on any

chassis ... Plafit, MJK or scratch built chassis. Next is the Aussie Retro

Sports Cars. Hand made steel & brass cars built from scratch or kits.

So are the 1960’s style Formula 1 cars.

Womps and Int.32 cars are our 1:32 scale race nights and are becoming

more popular due to their low purchase price! Go here to check out

what’s available. We expect this night to split over to two Saturday nights

soon as the numbers steadily grow.

STATE LEVEL CIRCUIT RACING

Once or twice a year we host major championships over 3 – 4 days.

DRAG RACING

Every Friday Night at 7:30pm we start our drag racing comp’s.

There are classes such as ... Street, Super Sedan, Nostalgia F/Car,

Show ‘n’ Go, Super modified, Super Gas and an all in Dial-in class.

CHICAGO SHOOTOUTS

This is held only a couple of times a year, and we usually run Street

cars only. Everyone gets to match race against everyone else for points.

Then the 2 highest point scores get to race off for the prizes!

FRIDAY TEAM NIGHTS

These nights have proven to be really popular amongst the racers as

they combine themselves into teams, and play out strategies to outwit

their competitors.

PRO-SERIES DRAG RACING

About 4 or 5 times a year we host a Pro-Series Drag night for the really

fast Pro classes. It starts at 7:00pm. We offer prize money by returning

half of the entry fees as prizes in each class.

STATE LEVEL DRAG RACING

In July the Australian Scale Drag Nationals are held.

Australian Blue King Track Record 1.592 seconds (24-MAR-2008) Carl Neilsen travelled from his track in Rockhampton QLD, with the ambition of re-claiming the title of the fastest ever lap on a Blue King in Australia. And he did it during the 2008 Australian Slot Car Nationals at Mobile Raceways in Dandenong. He completed a flying lap in 1.592 seconds. The Blue King track has 6 bends and is 155 feet long, that equates to an average real speed of 106.2 kmh and a scale speed of 2,549 kmh. There is no footage of the actual car racing aroud the track because our camera can't pick up the car at that speed. It's a blurrrrrr!
