It is made from tinned copper. The tinning process helps prolong the life of the copper braid and lowers the resistance. Its great for building 1:43 and 1:32 scale tracks where cars run without traction magnets and its a little more cost effective than magna braid. Its nominal dimensions are 3/16 x 0.025 thick. This can change slightly depending on how tight you pull on it when fixing it to the track surface. The braid can be stuck to the track surface with Hot Glue, Contact adhesive or 3M double sided tape adhesive. We can spool up any amount you need. Sometimes the spool may contain more than one continuous length. The price of braid is directly affected by the U.S exchange rate, and consequently the retail price may vary from time to time.
