C2810 Lamborghini Gallardo Yellow
History
Ferruccio Lamborghini, born under the zodiac sign of Taurus, founded the famous super car company and gave it the symbol of the fighting bull. When the Miura was introduced, he named the car after a famous breed of fighting bull, and this practice became a tradition for the House of the Bull. Honouring this tradition, the Lamborghini Gallardo is named after the Gallardo breed of fighting bull.
The Gallardo has a structural aluminium space-frame. The body is also made of aluminium. The four-wheel drive chassis has aluminium double wishbones front and rear, anti-roll bar, anti-dive and anti-squat. Electronics play an important part in the car with a full ESP system with ABS, ASR and ABD and an electronically controlled rear spoiler. Top speed is 315 km/h (196 mph) with acceleration of 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) in 3.95 sec.
The Scalextric Model
The car is modelled in an attractive golden metallic yellow forms part of our ‘Super-Resistant’ range. It has a light and very strong one piece body and is ideal for use by novice and club racer.
This Digital Plug Ready (DPR) car can be converted for use with the Scalextric Digital range in under sixty seconds using the C8515 Digital Plug. The car features adjustable Magnatraction™ positions and easy change pick-ups. The light weight and durable body is designed to withstand the knocks of full impact endurance racing.
