This is the easiest and cleanest way to stick your braid down to your track recess. No mess or fuss!
Make sure the surface is clean. Bare timber doesn't allow the ahesive tape to work as well if it was applied to a newly painted surface.
If you're braiding a track with 3/16" (approx 5mm braid), the 1/4" tape will overhang into the slot by 1/16" (approx 1.5mm).
This is easily removed with a sharp hobby knife running it long the inside edge of the slot.
And make sure you trim it off before you remove the backing paper prior to applying the braid.
