C2890 Ford Mustang - Al Costner "Classic Collection"

History
This car was driven in the day by independent Al Costner. It remains active in historic racing, driven by its present owner, Gordon Gimbel of Roseville, California.
During the period between 1966 and 1972 the two US auto giants Ford and General Motors came head to head in the US Trans Am series. This rivalry became known as The Pony Car Wars, the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang being the principal adversaries.

Both the Camaro and Mustang are equally matched for the new Pony Wars Challenge, as each model is complete with a full-length driver, adjustable traction magnet, sidewinder motor and self-centering guide blade.
